| I am looking to go with my wife and 3 children (aged 13-6) for Feb Half Term. More specifically assuming I drive we would like be in resort Sun 15/02 until at least Fri 20/02.
Ideally somewhere with in a not ridiculous drive from Calais Eurotunnel, we have driven to the French and Swiss Alps a few times.
As children are still fairly young we want to be in a single property and ideally with 2 bedrooms. If a hotel or chalet could be adjoining rooms I would look at that.
Budget wise we are trying to look at the cheaper end of the market as much as possible.
Resort wise happy with smaller, so long as there are some nice chilled greens for my 6yo. At the same time could do with somewhere with enough that the rest of us can play around and not be bored for a weeks skiing. | At a glance:- Looking for a holiday

We are in the GRAND MASSIF small village of Samoens around 8 hours from Calais easy to drive to and private off road parking at the chalet
The ski area offers 265kms of marked runs, 5 linked resorts connected by genuine blue runs.

The chalet is situated midway between the gondola and church square.
5 bedrooms with small en suite shower rooms and toilets. We can allocate you two rooms next to each other at the end of the hall way. They are not connected but quite private.

PRIVATE MINI BUS
Although we are only 400m from the Gondola, we do offer a service to and from the gondola in under a minute.
The gondola takes you to the mid station 1600m where you have the begginers slopes. We can also take you to the next village which is part of the Grand Massif and connected to Samoens where they have a 5km green run through the trees.
SKI HIRE
In house ski hire & one to one boot fitting, no queues to collect or return your ski rental. Change your skis with the snow conditions from beginners, intermediate, all mountain and off piste.
The rate on a catered basis for your family would be £3800 available 15th-22nd. I can offer some discount if you dont need the full week.

We can offer you sole occupancy of our cosy, well appointed family chalet in Morgins Switzerland from 14/2-21/2 2026 for £3,500 all in.
We have 4 double rooms with 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite) and indoor parking next to the door. We have a log fire, heated boot lockers, and there is a south facing terrace, WiFi, smart TV, and games.
Morgins is a pretty village in the heart of the Portes du Soleil and right on the border with France, 5 minutes drive from Chatel. We have been enjoying it for 15 years and believe you get the best of all worlds.
Skiing from the village is fantastic for all levels of ability. There is a new gondola perfect for accessing the Swiss side - the children’s slopes are at the top - plus iconic views of the Dents du Midi. A continuous free shuttle takes you there in 2 minutes from outside the chalet, and there is another chairlift 50 metres from our back door which takes you up to the quiet slopes of Chatel on the French side. You can access everything the Portes du Soleil has to offer easily from the doorstep.
Driving down is ideal as it's also useful to have the car for grocery shopping (beyond the 2 small supermarkets in the village) and popping to Chatel.
Our guests enjoy a 20% discount on ski hire.

Les Carroz, family-oriented re apres-ski and facilities, central to the Grand Massif, and the closest ski station by car from Calais than any other (we timed it!)  - it is autoroute A40 all the way to Exit 19 and then just 20 minutes climb.
Fabulous protected beginner green at the top of the telecabine for your 6 year old (along with toilets, a restaurant and a picnic room) - from where there is an immediate choice of three blues that take you up and out into the ski domaine.
Our upper floor is a suite' of Twin and Triple (single beds) with a Family bathroom and small mezzanine which would be ideal for your family.

Here at Edgeset we have availability for the period you indicated in your enquiry.
We are situated in the small alpine village of Villaroger, part of the Les Arcs Paradiski ski area.The new Villaroger gondola rising to 2,120 metre is only three minutes travelling distance from Edgeset. Parking is available at the base station. In addition to our own and guests transport facilities, a free bus service will run at regular intervals to the gondola base station, and one of its designated stops is outside Edgeset.
Here at Edgeset we can accommodate a maximum of five persons. The accommodation consists of two en -suite bedrooms which are situated on a separate floor, ensuring guests privacy.
