I'm organising for our mixed group of 10-12 adults looking for a catered chalet over the week of 22nd-29th Jan 2017 (although we are very flexible on dates and would definitely shift by a week or two). Not at all worried about ski-in/ski-out or even being all that close to resort but we would be looking for sole occupancy.
We've skied in France over the last few years and have had great holidays but we're also open to other resorts in Europe.

Well, we have availability and can offer your group 'Le Chalet' on a sole occupancy basis.
At 'Le Chalet' we have an indoor swimming pool and wellness area with sauna and steam room, a cinema room with projector screen, separate cosy television room along with a lounge with open log fire place and amazing mountain views, so there is plenty of space for the group to relax. We have five beautifully decorated bedrooms with stunning en-suite bathrooms – all rooms can be arranged as either twin or double depending on your groups requirements. We can also offer two additional single beds at a reduced rate if you group does extend to 12.

Chalet Giffre has an excellent location close to the village center just 400m to cafes, bars, shops and the Gondola.
After a cooked breakfast our drivers will be waiting with your skies ready to go. We drop you off at the Gondola in under a minute. No walking in ski boots. The Gondola takes you to the mid station at 1600m with North facing slopes it ensures great snow cover throughout the season. At mid station you have the ski schools and nursery slopes. You can ski blues reds and blacks down to Vercland or take a chairlift to the top of Samoens ski área which links directly to Morillon or Les Carroz. We are in the beautiful Biosphere area of the Lungau valley, just 1 hour south of Salzburg.
It’s a hidden gem of a snow-sure ski area, we have 4 local resorts that are covered in one ski pass, offering 170km of great skiing for all levels.
3 of the resorts are just 5 minutes from the chalet and the ski bus stops at our front door.
2 of the resorts are linked and include the wonderful A1, one of Austria’s longest runs at 6km.
The pistes are uncrowded and the mountain restaurants are very reasonably priced.
