| We are a group of friends and family with children aged 9-12. Half the group has skied before and half have never skied. Could be 11 people (7 adults, 4 kids) or could be 7 (5 adults, 2 kids) will need to confirm based on prices.
There are two adults who will do no or little skiing due to health / interest reasons so we need a pretty resort with shops and cafes to explore. Also easy access to slopes to come up and meet us.
We would like a catered chalet with lovely food as this is what I have told my friends about! As it will be the first ski experience for 2 children and 2 adults we would like a friendly, English speaking ski school to give them confidence. They are happy to learn as a family or separately. Two other adults would also want a couple of reminder lessons!
We can only do 4 days as limited on money and also one adult is recovering from a heart operation and will get tired.
There is one vegetarian.
Not many needs!!!! But I love skiing and the chalet experience so much I want them all to try!!

Location: Samoens 1600, The Grand Massif | Hi Helen, we can meet your requirements for a very pretty chocolate box chalet in Samoens which is an extremely pretty place to be. We're up at Samoens 1600 right next to the skiing (you can see how close from the map on our advert - click on the photo to the right).
Samoens 1600 has a brand new children's/ beginners ski area which is brilliant as is the local ski school which is all available in English.
We're only 60 minutes from Geneva so a short transfer, we have our own toboggan run in the garden, separate TV room, games room with pool table, lovely open plan living room, all rooms are ensuite and have lovely wooden beams and wood paneling.
Over easter, we would charge 432 euros per adult and 315 euros per child.

We can offer you sole occupancy of The Chalet for up to 11 people for £2,995 for any 4 nights from 8 April - fully catered with fantastic food - vegetarian cooking is no problem at all. The Chalet is on the piste yet only a 2 minute walk from the centre of Les Gets (the ice rink) which is a beautiful village and great for families.
The Chalet has 5 bedrooms (double/twin x2, double, twin and triple), is spread across 3 floors in its own grounds, sauna, sky tv, open log fire etc.
As well as having extremely easily accessible skiing across the whole Portes Du Soleil, there is plenty to do for non skiers too.
Les Gets itself has loads going on with historical guided walks, a spa, snow shoe walking and hiking (the tour of mont chery which leaves from the bottom of our drive) is great and very magical through the forest) cheese making, museum of mechanical music, the old town and church as well as loads of nice bars, restaurants, shops and cafes.
We work with a great English speaking ski school for the kids and the hire shop we use keeps the skis at the meeting point for you (only a 2 minute walk from the chalet anyway!)
The Chalet has great panoramic views from the balconies across the town and piste where the afternoon sun is great for topping up the tans in April over a cold beer or tea and cake.

We are perfectly positioned just out of resort but only 8 mins dive to the ski lifts. We can organise later lift back if people want to enjoy the raucous apres of Alp d’Huez too!
The Chalet is very spacious and has a huge sociable open plan lounge and dining area.
We are in the Alp d’huez Ski Area which is high altitude at 3060 so snow sure all season. We have some of the best off piste and back country too and can organise guiding for your group.
The après is pretty good too!
