There are two lifts out of Le Praz, the gondola which goes straight to the ski school meeting point in 1850 (beginners area) and the new foret chair going over to La Tania creating great links between the full three Valleys ski area. The three Valleys ski area is now covered by the now guarantee and also has a fantastic 50% of the slopes covered with snow cannons.
We also we have a fabulous 35% off ski hire and will deliver your lift passes to your accommodation with no additional mark up. We can also assist with transfers, tuition and childcare.

If you fancy somewhere with a shorter transfer, we're at Samoens 1600 which is just an hour's drive from Geneva. The snow record has been fantastic for the last two seasons - over 180cm depth by mid-April, so its a great time of year to come.
We've got a family suite available for the Easter break which is big enough for all four of you (the children's beds are slightly separate - ask me for a floor plan). All our rooms are ensuite.
We're in the Grand Massif ski domaine which is really well geared up for children - we're very close to the beginners ski area (about a 3 minute drive from our chalet) and you don't have to get in a lift at the beginning of the day which makes it easier to get up and out with children! Particularly if you've got early lessons booked.
We've got our own private toboggan run in the garden, outdoor hot-tub, sauna, games room with pool table, heated boot room... everything you'd expect from a great catered chalet!

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We are situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens which is one of the 5 linked resorts that form the Grand Massif the 4th largest ski área in France and in the top 5 snow sure resorts.
Chalet Giffre has an excellent location close to the village center just 400m to cafes, bars, shops and the Gondola.
After a cooked breakfast our drivers will be waiting with your skies ready to go. We drive you to the Gondola just over 400m in under a minute. No walking in ski boots. The Gondola takes you to the mid station at 1600m with North facing slopes it ensures great snow cover throughout the season. At mid station you have the ski schools and nursery slopes. You can ski blues reds and blacks down to Vercland or take a chairlift to the top of Samoens and explore the Grand Massif. We offer collection in the afternoon from 5 different lift stations in the Valley.
We offer a fully catered service 6 out of 7 days, cooked breakfast, 3 course evening meal with bottled wines cold beers. Before the evening meal we have a free bar in moderation.
All 6 bedrooms benefit from en suite shower rooms and wc.

Our chalet-hotel offers half board accommodation in snow sure Plagne 1800, part of the Paradiski area. We are next to the slopes and two chair lifts, with the ski school meeting point just across the street.
Facilities include:
*all ensuite rooms* two bars - Le Bobsleigh and the Skeleton with TVs and music * sauna, * lounge areas * massage room * large fitness room * pool table, children’s area * in-house ski and boot hire at best price guaranteed * ski passes can be collected on arrival if pre-booked.

Covered parking at the hotel is 50 euros a week but there is outdoor parking nearby if preferred. Eurostar travellers have just a short ride up the mountain to reach us so there are no lengthy transfers.
