My lovely recently refurbished old farmhouse in St Jean D'Aulps near Morzine could be perfect for you. It is just over an our from Geneva, and by car or ski bus you can reach our local ski area, the Grand Terche, in five minutes, Morzine and Avoriaz in ten minutes and Les Gets in 15 minutes. The Grand Terche is something of a hidden gem, it is very picturesque and usually extremely quiet, you will often have a run entirely to yourself. The bus stop is about 250m from the chalet. St Jean is a pretty traditional village, and the chalet is under a five minute walk from the village's bars and restaurants, bakeries, ski hire shop and Carrefour Express.
The chalet has two double bedrooms and two bedrooms which can be set up as double or twin, a sofa bed, and three bathrooms, so accommodates 8 very comfortably. It has received consistently excellent reviews which you can see via the link on my ad page. The rate for the week on a sole occupancy self catering basis is GBP1400, this includes linen and cleaning before and after your stay, there are no extras.

Location: Samoens 1600, The Grand Massif | Hi Julie,
We're a 60 minute drive from Geneva at Samoens 1600 and our USP is that we're right up the mountain in the domaine skiable, not down in a resort/village. If you stand in our garden and do a 360 degree turn, all you can see are trees, mountains and snow, so it really does feel remote, yet, we're just around the corner from the skiing (I can send you a link showing exactly how close we are). Its a massive advantage as you can be skiing within 5 minutes of leaving the chalet in the morning, rather than having to walk/drive to a lift, queue.. then schlep up the mountain in the morning.. we're right there!
If you're driving from Geneva, we've got parking for around 6 vehicles at the chalet which is obviously included, but parking is actually also free all over the domaine, so you'll have a lot of flexibility in terms of where you want to ski from, although you don't need a car to ski from our place, but then you'd need a transfer which I can quote for if helpful.
We're actually a catered chalet and we don't offer self-catered in Winter, so I hope thats not a deal breaker. Assuming not, check out our advert - click the pic on the right. We've got hot tub/sauna, games room, open fire places, all ensuite rooms, great food/wine/beer, wifi (can turn this off on request!), open fireplaces.. the works! The best bit about our chalet is its all very laid back and relaxed.
That week would be 5600 euros (NOT sole occupancy - we sleep 20).

The apartment affords a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, three bedrooms and a twin bedded mezzanine area, there are no bed settees! The living room has luxurious leather reclining seating and flat screen television that will accommodate most game systems. The dining area has a large pine table that comfortably seats 8 and gives views across the valley, and access via french doors to your private balcony. There is also free Wi-Fi.
All this is set in the grange of an old traditional Savoyard farm house that has been recently renovated, in the picturesque village of Essert Romand in the middle of the Portes du Soleil area, this beautiful apartment is arranged over 2 floors and is full of rustic charm, original beams etc.
We are a 5 minute drive from the centre of the vibrant Morzine town centre or 200m to the ski bus which goes direct to Morzine and the Super Morzine and Pleney telecabins where you can ski Avoriaz and on into Switzerland.
Morzine is renowned for being a popular family resort and here at Chalet La Salle we are conveniently placed for accessing the wide variety of pistes and nursery slopes.
We can also help arrange discounted airport transfers and ski hire. We can collect, once ordered, your lift passes so that they are here waiting for you. Do an essential shop for your arrival and request a daily delivery of fresh bread and croissants.

- 1 hour and 10 minutes from Geneva - 5 bedrooms; 1 twin, 1 double, 2 x double / twins, 1 triple (double/twin and single or 3 singles). SOLE OCCUPANCY.
- Continental and cooked breakfast cooked by me and my husband with over 20 years experience. We do the catering but live out so the best of both worlds
- Les Gets is a pretty and lively village and the Chalet is a 2 minute walk to the very centre of town and all the bars and restaurants- La Pela, Alba, Alpine Tavern, La Flambeau, Black Bear, L'Apres-Ski, Bar Bush, Boomers, Irish etc to name a few as well as Igloo open until 6am if you still have the stamina.
- Close to lifts - you can't get much closer than us! The main lift up Mont Chery is at the bottom of the slope we are on (5 metres) and the main lift up the Chavannes side is a 2 minute walk across the road. Skiing in the Portes Du Soleil is amazing and really does have something for everyone - we are more than happy to take you out and show you the best spots if you like!
- Sauna and panoramic views from the wraparound balconies surrounding the 3 flooor detached chalet set in its own grounds.
