I may have a good solution for you - I have a lovely self/flexi catered chalet in Les Gets which will sleep 6 of you in 3 bedrooms. All the bedrooms are ensuite with an extra shower room downstairs on the entrance level. We have an outdoor jacuzzi as well. We are 150 m from a FREE bus stop which takes you directly to town and the pistes and there would be no need to cart you stuff back to the chalet as our ski shop will let you keep everything down there ready to put on again in the morning.
The chalet is in a lovely spot with fabulous views. I snowshoe from the chalet but there are cross country tracks nearby.
The buses run until the ski slopes close and then there is a nighttime Navette if you want to stay in town or go out on a night.

The apartment is ideally situated just one hour by road from Geneva, on the sunny slopes of the strikingly beautiful upper Giffre valley. Directly opposite are Morillon, 2.5km, (5 mins drive) and the lovely alpine village of Samoens, 5km (10 minutes drive), which link easily to Flaine, Les Carroz and 265kms of piste which form the Grand Massif range, Frances 4th largest ski area.
You can find a selection of restaurants and an artisan bakery in Verchaix 1.5km down the hill, and Morillon village centre is 2km where there are more restaurants, bars, a , and shops. The nearest supermarket is 3km. In winter there is a ski bus stop 50 meters from the apartment.

Location: Courchevel & La Tania, Three Valleys | I would like to offer Cristal, a lovely apartment also in the centre of Le Praz, Courchevel 1300. Opposite the Drop inn bar a short distance (400m) to the La Praz bubble and new Foret chair lift and piste with a small range of restaurants and shops in the village this is extended by the regular free shuttle service offered through the whole of Courchevel. Cristal is a well-equipped spacious apartment with four bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people. Although in the lower village of Le Praz 1300 I can assure you that the links between the higher parts of resort are very quick and reliable. We are an owner run chalet. Bansko was recently voted the best value ski resort in Europe and with flights costing as little as £80 return to Sofia. The chalet is in a great location with amazing ‘unrestricted’ views of the mountains, with the village centre is just short 'level’ walk away. The slopes and lifts located at the rear of the property, allowing you to ski back to the door(conditions permitting). It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a steam room. Cot can be provided. It is located close to the lift in Nendaz which gives access to the whole of the 4 Valleys and plenty of alpine skiing. There is some cross country skiing (close to the apartment) but it is not a huge area.

We have several apartments and chalets in the centre of Morzine which would be right for your group.
Firstly Chalende 24 is situated 80m from the Pleney slopes, it has 2 bedrooms + mezzanine and 2 bathrooms, there is a lift in the building and a lockable garage. The rate is €1350 for 21 - 28 Jan.http://www.mountainhighs.co.uk/apartment-chalende.html
We also have another new larger apartment in the same building, called Chalende 30, which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeping 7. Also garage and a fireplace. It costs €1900 for 21 - 28 Jan and €2100 for 28 Jan - 4 Feb.
Chalet La Grange is in the centre of Morzine, 300m from the Pleney slopes and 400m from the SuperMorzine lift. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeps 8, and costs €2150 from 22 - 29 Jan.
Chalet Regains has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and sleeps 7-8. It is 700m from the centre of Morzine and costs €1450 from 21 - 28 Jan, or €2275 for an 11-night stay from 21 Jan - 2 Feb.
Our rates ALL include bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning - there are no hidden extras to pay!

PS: I do a lot of cross-country skiing myself and am able to give you plenty of information about the different areas to choose from around Morzine.
