We are a family of 5 looking for a ski trip over New Year. Relatively flexible on dates (leave anytime from the 27th although plan to be back by 8th as kids back to school on the 9th). 2 adults and 3 children (7, 6 and 4).
Looking for somewhere family friendly and ideally not too long a transfer from Geneva. Would like to be close to slopes and ski school. Budget of around £400pp.

We have our catered Alpine Refuge and self catered Slalom 33 available.
The Alpine Refuge is located just 8 minutes walk from the SuperMorzine lift and the centre of resort. This chocolate box chalet has 5 bedrooms, an extra bunkbed room (no window), an open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and spectacular views, a second mezzanine lounge with media facilities, free wi-fi internet access, boot warmers, plus a hot tub and a sauna. Even though the chalet is within easy walking distance of the lifts we still offer a minibus service to and from the slopes each day plus the free ski bus stops just at the end of the private drive.
The Slalom 33 is located right in the centre of Morzine just 50 meters walk from the SuperMorzine lift and 100 meters walk from the Pleney slopes. Built in 2008, the apartment has 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 room with a single bed and bunkbeds), 2 bathrooms (1 wc), an open plan lounge (with sofabed) and dining area with flat screen tv and dvd player, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace overlooking the slopes, plus ski locker and underground parking.

The local slopes of Cret Beni are only a few minutes walk or 2 minutes on the bus, which stops right outside, ideal for beginners and intermediates, or a little further on to the lifts that take you to 650km of amazing skiing for the more adventurous! The slopes are nice and quiet in La Chapelle.
It has a full kitchen, wifi,smart tv, apple tv, boot warmers and underfloor heating throughout.

Chatel, up the road, had the best conditions in the whole of the Portes du Soleil last season.

Thank you for posting your request in the solutions room. Have you been to or considered the Grand Massif? It is an hours drive from Geneva airport.
The ski area is truly a hidden gem with 265kms of piste, 69 lifts, 20 green runs,65 blue runs, 50 red runs and 14 black runs with the highest altitude 2,500 metres. Something for all abilities.
There is a blue run 150 metres from our chalet which guests can use if snow conditions are good, otherwise we take and collect you directly from the lifts.
We have availability/flexibility for dates you want in 2 rooms to comfortably accomodate you and your children. Hopefully this will help with getting cheaper flights.
The chalet is owner run and located between 2 ski lifts. Morillon village and Les Esserts.
All our bedrooms are spacious with en-suite facilities and there is a large dining room and separate lounge for you to relax in after a hard day on the slopes.

It's an easy short walk to the lifts and village centre and is available for the period you are interested in upto the 7th January. We have a lovely chalet in Peisey, Les Arcs - I can offer you two ensuite rooms from 29th December - the price is £449 per adult and £289 per child catered so this should work out below your budget in total.
The chalet has 8 rooms in total with two other families already booked in so great opportunity for your kids to make friends. There is a sauna at the chalet, wifi, open fire, sat tv and games console, heated boot room and it is just 150m to the ski lift.
We are happy to help with transfers, lessons and also offer discount on lift passes and ski hire.
Our staff at this chalet have worked for us previously and are great cooks and hosts - the children will love them as will you!

Our chalet-hotel offers half board accommodation in snow sure Plagne 1800, part of the Paradiski area. We are next to the slopes and two chair lifts, with the ski school meeting point just across the street.
Facilities include:
*all ensuite rooms* two bars - Le Bobsleigh and the Skeleton with TVs and music * sauna, * lounge areas * massage room * large fitness room * pool table, children’s area * in-house ski and boot hire at best price guaranteed * ski passes can be collected on arrival if pre-booked.

Covered parking at the hotel is 50 euros a week but there is outdoor parking nearby if preferred. Eurostar travellers have just a short ride up the mountain to reach us so there are no lengthy transfers.
