Looking for Christmas holiday, most likely within travelling distance of Geneva, but happy to explore flying to other airports.
Careted would be nice, but will consider self catered as well.
Prefer somewhere reasonably large, as enjoy blasting round as many pistes as possible, not miles away from the slopes. Don't mind a bit of a walk, but don't want to have to get a bus to the slopes.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. Location: Les Gets | Hi Chris,
We have availability in Chalet la Ravine, Les Gets between 21st - 28th December for €500 per person in a twin room with en suite.
The chalet is a five minute walk from the town and ten minutes from the lifts and we offer daily transport to and from the slopes.
Les Gets is just over an hour away from Geneva airport and is linked with the Portes du Soleil ski area, giving you access to some fantastic skiing in both France and Switzerland, on 650km of pistes, so you'll certainly have plenty of slopes to explore.
The price includes:

~ 3 course evening meal, including complementary house wines, beer and soft drinks throughout the meal, + tea and coffee, served 5 nights

Chalet Giffre has an excellent location close to the village center just 400m to cafes, bars, shops and the Gondola.
After a cooked breakfast our drivers will be waiting with your skies ready to go. We drive you to the Gondola just over 400m in under a minute. No walking in ski boots. The Gondola takes you to the mid station at 1600m with North facing slopes it ensures great snow cover throughout the season. At mid station you have the ski schools and nursery slopes. You can ski blues reds and blacks down to Vercland or take a chairlift to the top of Samoens and explore the Grand Massif. We offer collection in the afternoon from 5 different lift stations in the Valley.

We have an ensuite twin room available for your dates in our B&B chalet in Morzine. Morzine is in the vast Portes du Soleil area which has 650 kms of linked piste. We are only a 5 minute flat walk from the Super Morzine bubble lift and town centre, but in a quiet area. We are also close to 2 free bus routes. One drops you right outside the Ardent telecabine to ski the Avoriaz, Chatel or Les Crosets areas, and the second will take you over to the Pleney in the centre of Morzine, to ski Morzine/Les Gets. We’re only 1 hour 20 minutes from Geneva airport and can organise your transfer from there if needed.
We can also help you organise your ski lessons, chalet delivery of ski equipment, and buy your passes in advance so that you can hit the slopes as soon as possible. Free WIFI is available.
