| looking for a high resort somewhere in France. We are a family of four and would consider catered or un catered chalet accommodation. we are flying into Genova on the 23rd December and would like to leave on the 30th / 31st December.
We would like to be near the slopes as we do not wish to hire a car. Hot tub / sauna would be desirable but not essential.

We'd love to welcome your family to our owner run chalet! We are in St Gervais Mont Blanc, still a hidden gem of a resort not visited by tour companies, part of the huge Evasion Mont Blanc ski area and only 1 hour from Geneva airport. Our price for four people in 2 rooms commencing 23/12/16 is £550 per person. This includes return Geneva airport transfers, six nights half board accommodation and 1 night B&B, and daily transport to and from the lift, so absolutely no walking involved. If you don't know it already, St Gervais is a fabulous place to ski, especially with the Mont Blanc as a backdrop. It is also very quiet over the Christmas period. The Evasion Mont Blanc ski area that includes Megève and Les Contamines, has over 430 kms of pistes on the one very reasonably priced pass. Our chalet overlooks the village of St Gervais Mont Blanc and has superb views of the mountain itself. Marie's cuisine, the warm natured ambience of our supper table and the size and comfort of our chalet have ensured that we have a very high return rate! We can pre- organise any ski hire that you might need so that you waste the minimum amount of time when you get here, and ski passes can be booked online and delivered direct to us to await you arrival.

There's a stunning feature wall in beautiful local slate, as well as a huge new dining table.
On top of this, the stairs and bootroom have been re-tiled, and as part of ongoing plans, we've updated one of the bedrooms (the rest will be completed next summer). This bedroom has a beautiful new bathroom with walk-in shower, new tiling and floor and new curtains.
On Christmas Day, we have a traditional dinner, with roast dinner and all the trimmings. We have made our own Christmas Pudding, cake and mincemeat, and there is even Stilton cheese and port to finish off the meal.
The price has been reduced to £599 per person.
Transfers possible from Geneva for £75 per person.

Location: Grand Massif Ski Area | Thank you for posting your request in the solutions room. Have you been to or considered the Grand Massif? It is an hours drive from Geneva airport.
The ski area is truly a hidden gem with 265kms of piste, 69 lifts, 20 green runs,65 blue runs, 50 red runs and 14 black runs with the highest altitude 2,500 metres. Something for all abilities.
There is a blue run 150 metres from our chalet which guests can use if snow conditions are good, otherwise we take and collect you directly from the lifts.
We have availability for dates you want.
The chalet is owner run and located between 2 ski lifts. Morillon village and Les Esserts.
All our bedrooms are spacious with en-suite facilities and there is a large dining room and separate lounge for you to relax in after a hard day on the slopes.

Apartment Le Petit Cheval Blanc 2 is approximately a 5 minute walk down the road to the closest bars, restaurants and supermarkets of Morzine ski resort.
Our Morzine ski apartment is also on the free ski bus route 'D', which takes you adjacent to the Super Morzine bridge. The bus stop is located just outside the front of the apartment building. The free bus route 'A' is a short walk from the rear of the building and offers direct access to the Prodain 3S high speed lift to Avoriaz and the Portes Du Soleil ski area. Location: Samoens - Grand Masif | Just 1 hour from Geneva airport Skiing the Grand Massif 265kms of runs, 4th largest ski area in France and in the top 5 snow sure resorts. The 5 linked villages that form the ski area are all linked via blue runs.
We are situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens. Chalet Giffre has an excellent location located between the Gondola and town centre.
We offer a fully catered service 6 out of 7 days, cooked breakfast, 3 course evening meal with bottled wines cold beers. Before the evening meal we have a free bar in moderation.
Although the gondola is just 400m there is no walking in ski boots. We offer a private minibus service in under a minute. We offer collection late afternoon from 5 different lift stations in the Valley.
We also offer airport transfers and in house ski hire latest models.
All 6 bedrooms benefit from en suite shower rooms and wc.
