I am looking for family accommodation options in either Morzine or Samoens. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (aged 7 & 10) and are open to considering different options. We've done both catered and self-catered skiing holidays before and also sole occupancy and shared chalets (although the shared chalets were before we had kids!). If you have a shared chalet I'd be interested to know how this works with differing groups where perhaps not all are families. Historically we've always rented a car but if we could avoid that cost and be able to get transfers from the airport and then be close enough to the slopes in resort then that would be good. The other thing we're very keen on is to get the children into a ski school for the week so if you know of a good ski school and ideally whether they have availability then all the better.

Our Morzine ski apartment is also on the free ski bus route 'D', which takes you adjacent to the Super Morzine bridge. The bus stop is located just outside the front of the apartment building. The free bus route 'A' is a short walk from the rear of the building and offers direct access to the Prodain 3S high speed lift to Avoriaz and the Portes Du Soleil ski area. We have our self catered Apartment Balcon du Pleney available for the 18th February and our catered Chalet la Desmeuniere available for the 19th February 2017.
The Balcon du Pleney is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment located just 20 meters from the Pleney slopes and 4 minutes walk from the center of resort. There is a lounge and dining area with flat screen tv and dvd player, wi-fi, a fully equipped kitchen, plus ski locker and parking.

This luxury catered ski chalet boasts a spacious open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and vaulted ceilings, balconies with superb views, a second mezzanine lounge with media facilities, free wi-fi internet access, a heated ski and boot room, a sauna, plus a sunken outdoor hot tub set in the stunning grounds. We provide a minibus service to and from the slopes each day plus the free ski bus which operates every 10 minutes stops just outside the chalet. This chalet already has 4 rooms booked and they are guests who have stayed with us before and they have some children with them.
Please note that we are able to assist with arranging any ski school, ski hire, lift pass and airport transfer requirements that you may have all in advance of your arrival date. We are just 1hr 15mins drive from Geneva.

We have an en-suite double and bunk room perfect for children available in our seven bedroom catered chalet in the lovely village of St Jean d’Aulps just outside Morzine. All the other people booked in at that time have children as well.
Food is exceptionally important to us and we can promise you food way beyond the usual chalet menu. We have a Certificate of Excellence on Trip Advisor so please do have a look to see what other guests think of us. The above price includes cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea with home-made cakes and four course evening meal with wine on six nights.
We shuttle you to and from the lifts of your choice everyday so you don’t need to worry about walking or waiting around for ski buses. The local lifts at Pleney, Ardent, Prodain or Super Morzine are around 10 minutes drive away and we also have a smaller, unlinked resort called Roc D’Enfer just two minutes from the chalet which is a real hidden gem.
The chalet has an outside hot tub, sauna, large lounge area with open log fire and separate bar area with well stocked honesty bar. We are within walking distance of local shops, bars and restaurants.
The Portes du Soleil is the world's largest internationally linked ski area offering skiing in 12 resorts across France and Switzerland. The 650 km of pistes offer ample opportunities for all abilities and disciplines and boasts an excellent snow record.
