The gondola is just 400m which takes you to the midstation at 1600m.
There is no walking in ski boots. We have 2 minibuses servicing the chalet which drop you off at the Gondola in under a minute.

The Boutique Chalet in Les Gets is set in it own grounds overlooking Lake Geneva 5 metres from the piste at the bottom of a blue or green run as well as 3 ski lifts, right next to the ski school meeting point.

We have availability at la petite buche for your dates we, the chalet is warm and cosy with all you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire. We are both chefs in Crete during the summer season so you will be well fed.
The pretty mountain village of le grand bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from, the telecabine to the slopes is just the other side of the village centre. Le grand bornand is only an hour from geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike. We are quite happy to organise transfers for you, reduced ski hire, and can organise lessons, and ski schools with enough notice. It's your holiday and we are happy to help you as much as we can.

The lovely village ski resort of Les Gets I think would be perfect for your family: it's an hour and ten minutes from Geneva, is very family focussed, and has a perfect range of runs, and good ski schools which would suit your family. My apartment, Apartment Montagne, is in the village of Les Gets and would be perfect for your family, it has one double and three single beds. It's well located with a short walk to all of the amenities and lifts of the village. Chalet Lucioles is a beautifully renovated chalet located right in the heart of Morzine - only 1 minute walk to the main lifts at Le Pleney, the ski schools, bars, restaurants and shops.
Pine Marten Lodge and Chalet Madosa are also centrally located in Morzine, offering easy access to the village amenities.
La Vieille Ferme de la Moussiere is our alpine farmhouse in St Jean d'Aulps (just outside Morzine). Only 5 minutes from the village centre (restaurants, bars) with a free minibus to/from the ski lifts so there is no need to walk anywhere in ski boots!

We can offer you our newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in La Chapelle d'Abondance in the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. The local slopes of Cret Beni are only a few minutes walk or 2 minutes on the bus, which stops right outside, ideal for beginners and intermediates, or a little further on to the lifts that take you to 650km of amazing skiing for the more adventurous! The slopes are nice and quiet in La Chapelle.
It has a full kitchen, wifi,smart tv, apple tv, boot warmers and underfloor heating throughout.
We can recommend ski hire with 10% off(who come to the apartment at your convenience)
Chatel, up the road, has had the best conditions in the whole of the Portes du Soleil lat season
The lift to Torgon and the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil is a 3 minute drive away
For New Year it will be £1,600 for the week + cleaning for all of you. Towels and linen included
