We have availability at la petite buche for your dates, the chalet is warm and cosy with all you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire. We are both chefs in Crete during the summer season so you will be well fed.
The pretty mountain village of le grand bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from, the telecabine to the slopes is just the other side of the village centre. Le grand bornand is only an hour from geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike. We are quite happy to organise transfers for you, reduced ski hire, and can organise lessons, and ski schools with enough notice. It's your holiday and we are happy to help you as much as we can.

We are situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens with Flaine forms part of the Grand Massif Just 1 hour from Geneva.
Chalet Giffre has a great location in the town. The original farm house in the village with a private parking in the courtyard and the village on your door step. Just 400m to the church square and Gondola.
Our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms all have en suite shower room and wc. Each room has a double bed and single bed. Bunkbeds can be added to make family rooms sleeping up to 4. The chalet is built over 4 floors, with a log burning stove dividing the dinning area and the lounge area. We have a free bar before dinner offering beers, wines, and a few old favourites like G&T`s in front of the log fire.
We offer fully catered service 6 out of 7 days, cooked breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee with freshly baked cakes, 3 course evening meal and a cheese board served with cold beers and wine.
There is no walking in ski boots. Two minibuses servicing the chalet we drop you off at the Gondola just 400m in under a minute. The gondola take you to mid station at 1600m. late afternoon collection from 5 different lift stations in the Valley.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. Chalet Gaillard has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 8 adults plus up to 4 children. The living/dining area is open plan with great views up to Mont Vallon. After a hard day on the mountain you can sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine whilst you wait for a delicious dinner to be served.
It is situated close to the centre of Meribel Mottaret, with plenty of restaurants and bars. It’s a very short walk to the slopes and the nearest lift is about 300m away.
The Three Valleys has excellent ski-ing for all abilities. The Meribel Valley has great, well thought out beginner areas, plenty of blues and reds, and more challenging blacks and accessible off piste for the more experienced. There’s fast access to both Courchevel with its vast open pistes and interesting couloirs, and Val Thorens, known for its high snow sure slopes.

We provide gourmet food starting the day with a hearty breakfast. On your return from the slopes there will be a homemade cake or biscuits for you to enjoy and the evening starts with canapés and cocktails followed by a relaxed and delicious 3 course meal with unlimited wine. We offer on-site childcare, plus the chalet has access to our private spa and swimming pool.
Our ski in chalets are in Sainte Foy (2620m top chair lift), French Alps, and they enjoy a position near the nursery slopes/ski school. There are also bars, shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes’ walk from the chalet door.
The Sunday Times placed Sainte Foy No.1 in their feature article the ‘World’s Best Family Ski Resorts’. And The Times wrote that Venture Ski has “built some great chalets with top-notch on-site childcare” and has “easily the best [cuisine]” compared to our peers? And in their two-page article on us the Daily Mail referred to “…faultless, cheerful service and great food”.

Location: Portes du Soleil | Hi Pip,
We still have availability at Chalet Abbaye, St Jean d’Aulps, for the week commencing Sunday February 11th 2018.
The chalet sleeps 8 in 5 bedrooms and has 3 bathrooms. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room which opens onto a terrace with hot tub and views of the mountains. There is parking for 3 cars, free wifi and English television. We provide a welcome pack for your arrival.
Chalet Abbaye is an 80 minute drive from Geneva airport and we can recommend the local ski station of La Grande Terche. Alternatively we are just are a 12 minute drive from Ardent which links up to the whole of the Portes du Soleil. It is a short walk to the local bars and restaurants.
We can offer you the same price as this year of 3400 Euros, self catered. This price includes linen, towels and exclusive use of the chalet and hot tub.
Optional boulangerie breakfast deliveries and ski hire fitted at the chalet are available at extra cost.
