Alyson and I are looking for a skiing holiday for Christmas week with our 12 year old son Ben.
We'd like to stay in a catered chalet within a couple of hours drive of Geneva Airport.
I have booked flights out on Friday 22nd Dec. I'm happy to stay in the valley for this night, but if you can offer the extra night closer to departure this would be great.
A family room would be ideal, but 2 rooms is also okI'd like good access to and from the ski slopes, and somewhere to park my hire car.
I'd welcome all suggestions

Situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens with Flaine forms part of the Grand Massif Just 1 hour from Geneva.
Chalet Giffre has a great location in the town. The original farmhouse in the village with a private courtyard and the village on your door step. Just 400m to the church square and Gondola.
Our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms all have en suite shower room and wc. Each room has a double bed and single bed. Bunkbeds can be added to make family rooms sleeping up to 4. The chalet is built over 4 floors, with a log burning stove dividing the dinning area and the lounge area. Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines, draft beer and spirits with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 16 people in either twin or triple rooms.
There is a large lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and TV,
A soundproof Cine’ room with a large screen for watching DVD’s.
We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.
Included in the price:
• Catering service including Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and a 3 course evening meal with complimentary fine wines, beer and spirits.
• Free WIFI and a sky television
• A private driveway for parking if you self-drive
• A Steam room and Hot Tub to help relax sore muscles.
• Crisp linen with luxury towels , fluffy bath robes and slippers

Chalet Petite Etoile des Neige is a traditional luxury chalet situated in the main street of the old town in Alpe d'Huez. The open-plan living and dining areas have a comfortable, cosy, home-from-home feel. The superb central location of the chalet mean that you are close to bars and restaurants and the three main lift systems within two minutes walk. The chalet has been finished with alpine furnishings with a modern twist, a style which continues in all of the en suite bedrooms. Don’t forget to relax on the balcony which, along with some of the bedrooms, enjoys superb views of the valley. With storage for your ski equipment and heated boot dryers, Chalet Petite Etoile is a popular choice and early booking is recommended.
Chalet Petite Etoile is situated in the same building as Chalet Grande Etoile. Both chalets can be taken by a group of up to 20 but each group can only dine in their individual chalets.
