I am looking for a short break for my wife and I 2nd - 7th ( or 8th ) April this Easter to Ski. we are driving down, so easy reach please from calais ( ish ).
Looking for something preference ski in /out or minimum hassle to slopes, also with some level of luxury ( we dont get away on our own often ) as is our last minute anniversary treat
we wont ski every day ( bad knee ), so access to spa / bar would be good.

We are now in to our 14th Ski season our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms. log burning stove dividing the dinning area and the lounge area. We have a free bar before dinner offering beers, wines, and a few old favourites like G&T`s in front of the log fire.
Fully catered service 6 out of 7 days, cooked breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee freshly baked cakes, 3 course evening meal and cheese board served with cold beers and wine.
No walking in ski boots. Two minibuses servicing the chalet dropping you off at the Gondola 400m in under a minute. We also collect you from 5 diffrent lift stations late afternoon

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines, draft beer and spirits with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 16 people in either twin or triple rooms ( all en-suite )
There is a large lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and TV,
A soundproof Cine’ room with a large screen for watching DVD’s.
We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.

I can offer accommodation at la Ferme du Chateau from 2nd to 8th April. We are in the Portes du Soleil region so 8 hours from Calais (one of the nearest resorts) and we have parking at the chalet.
La Ferme is a beautifully renovated Savoyard farmhouse with exceptionally spacious accommodation in 6 en-suite rooms, great food and quality wines. All rooms can be twin or double rooms, all of which have bath and/or shower facilities plus branded toiletries, dressing gowns, hair dryers and access to an outdoor sunken jacuzzi. The living / dining area is extremely spacious yet homely and is centered around a wood clad open fire with lots of comfy sofas in which to relax and has views across the local slopes.
It is fully catered: breakfast & afternoon tea on each day, pre-dinner drinks & canapes, a 4- course evening meal which is accompanied by free flowing quality wines & beer.
La Ferme is in the centre of the beautiful village of La Chapelle d'Abondance offering a combination of traditional French village and large ski area. La Ferme is within walking/skiing distance of the local runs, has direct access to the Portes du Soleil, local bars including a microbrewery, shops and great restaurants; but we also have in resort transport so can start from any point in the valley and can pop to Chatel to sample the apres ski there too. There is a lovely spa complex in Chatel called the Forme d'O and other activities available for non ski days.
A holiday at La Ferme is about comfort, relaxation and fun and we will organize everything so that you can relax and enjoy your holiday.
