We are looking to get a catered chalet in the Alps with a transfer of less than 2 hours from Geneva. We are looking for a short stay of 4 nights and we do not mind sharing the chalet with otehr guests. We will probably have 6 or 8 in our group. a hot tub, preferably outdoors, is required. We are an independently owned and managed chalet in Morzine. Built in the mid 1950s by a local architect as his family home with spacious seating and eating spaces, ideal for large gatherings of all ages. We offer a really personal service and can give you the best advice about the chalet and skiing the Portes du Soleil.
We currently have availability during February. Our rooms vary from Family to twin/doubles, all with en suite or private bathrooms starting at £605pppw.
We have a large Hot Tub, south facing sun terrace and garden deck set in our own flat, tree lined garden. We also offer guests our driver and minibus service to and from the lifts daily (3mins) and for the more adventurous, a lift into the centre of town after dinner. We have our catered Chalet Pleney available for a 4 night stay from Wednesday 30th January through to departing on Sunday 3rd February 2019.
Chalet Pleney is in an envied position right on the Pleney piste, giving you the luxury of literally skiing in and out, but it is also just a 5 minute walk to the Pleney lift . It is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery with spectacular views in all directions but is also within easy walking distance of the old town square and all the bars restaurants and shops. Chalet Pleney boasts 9 ensuite bedrooms, a spacious open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and large picture windows looking over the mountains, a separate childrens play room with tv/dvd, free Wi-Fi internet, plus a ski/boot room, sunken outdoor hot tub and sauna.
Your catered holiday includes your half board stay (cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes, a pre-dinner drink and canapes, plus 4 course evening meal with unlimited wine for 3 of your 4 night stay). First up avoid the french school holidays if possible so come before 9th February.
Second Les Carroz (Grand Massif) - 4th largest ski area in France (situated between Chamonix and the Portes du Soleil) is just ONE HOUR from Geneva Airport. spend the time on the piste or in the bar, not on the road.
Thirdly, we get you skiing the morning you arrive (book the earliest possible flight) and store your gear so you can ski until the end of the last day (as well as offering showering facilities!)
So, although we do not have a hot tub, and are situated a short walk from the nearest piste, and 3 stops from the telecabine (regular ski bus) we do transport you on the first day to the telecabine where your equipment can be stored throughout your stay for the price of a couple of beers - giving the ski in ski out experience and leaving you equipment-free to enjoy the many apres-ski bars in our beautiful French village.
Just £395pp based on twin share for a four night stay, plus licensed return transfers for a seamless transition to the slopes (approx £30pp each way) we probably offer the best value for money short break around.
We specialise in short breaks and have done since 1997, provide private ski hire fitting and can discount your lift pass (if your first day is before 9th Feb).
