Our chalet is situated just outside of Vaujany, a small, authentic Alpine village with great amenities such as a swimming pool, bowling, amazing day care, an ice-skating rink and daily animations.
We are part of the vast ski area of Alpe d’Huez which is superb for people of all levels of skiing.

We have availability during the season for 9 people in the fabulous Chalet Gentiane in Les Gets, just a one hour transfer from Geneva in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski region. The Chalet has 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, a huge living/dining are with a large open log fire, an ideal place to relax after a good day on the slopes. We are in a great location, just 200 metres to slopes, lifts and village centre and the free bus around the village stops right outside our front door. Location: Samoens 1600, The Grand Massif | Hi Pierre & Stephanie,
The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France. Particularly good for beginners and intermediates. The off-piste is also outstanding.
Chalet Ski-Massif is located at 1300m, off of the mountain road that goes from Samoëns (720m) up to the Samoëns 1600 ski station. As such, you will feel like you're properly staying in the alpine mountains, with uninterrupted views of valleys, mountains, pine trees and snow surrounding the chalet. It is an idyllic spot and it's a beautiful drive up to the slopes in the morning.
Because of this location we can get you onto the pistes within 5 minutes of leaving the chalet - well ahead of the people that take 40 minutes to come up from the villages. In this way you can be ahead of the queues and half way to Flaine before the crowds have even put their skis on.
At night, from the hot tub, you get amazing views of the stars because of the lack of light pollution (apart from Friday night when fireworks are sent up into the sky from 1600).
All you need to do is to book your flights. We'll help you with everything else: from transfers, passes, rentals, getting you to the slopes, lessons/guides, and any advice you'd like for the mountain.
This season I have an excellent chef who is passionate about food. Amanda will spoil you with her delicious freshly cooked meals while her husband Peter serves you a selection of 10 wines. Beers and aperitifs are also included.
