Hi Hass,
The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France. Fantastic for all levels and the off-piste here is outstanding.
Chalet Ski-Massif is located at 1300m, off the mountain road that goes from Samoëns (720m) up to the Samoëns 1600 ski station. You will feel like you're properly staying in the alpine mountains, with uninterrupted views of valleys, mountains, pine trees and snow surrounding the chalet. It is an idyllic spot and a beautiful drive up to the slopes in the morning.
Because of this location I can drop you at the top of a green/blue/red piste in less than 5 minutes of leaving the chalet - well ahead of the people that take 40 minutes to come up from the villages, and you can be ahead of the queues and half way to Flaine before the crowds have even put their skis on.
At night, from the hot tub, you get amazing views of the stars because of the lack of light pollution.
All you need to do is to book your flights. We'll help you with everything else: from transfers, passes, rentals, getting you to the slopes, lessons/guides, and any advice you'd like for the mountain.
This season I have an excellent chef who is passionate about food. Amanda will spoil you with her delicious freshly cooked meals while her husband Peter serves you a selection of 10 wines. Beers and aperitifs are also included.

You can arrive/depart any day of the week and any time of day.
Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The chalet sleeps up to 25 guests in 10 bedrooms. Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. Go one better and come to the 4 Vallees ! We would be delighted to welcome you to Chalet La Luge in the resort of La Tzoumaz, an alternative to Verbier with all the same great skiing, and quieter, gentler slopes this side of the mountain.
We have 6 rooms all with en-suite facilities, which can be arranged with twin or super-king double beds.
Situated at an altitude of 1576m we are 600m from the pistes and very popular après bar, 800m from the resort centre.
We run drop offs every morning, getting back is easy, the free ski bus stops 100m from the chalet and it's all downhill :0)
We have both a hot tub and sauna, separate cinema/Smart TV/play room, log fire, as well as a computer linked TV in the living room.
We serve cooked breakfast options on all 7 days, there's freshly made home-made cakes/biscuits on all 7 days and a 5 course evening meal on 6 nights. Earlier and suitable meals for children as required. Excellent catering and service - see our ChaletsDirect and TripAdvis0r reviews for proof!

Our chalet-hotel offers half board accommodation in snow sure Plagne 1800, part of the Paradiski area. We are next to the slopes and two chair lifts, with the ski school meeting point just across the street.
