Location: Samoëns | We can offer 3/4 ensuite double/twin/triple rooms in our light & modern catered chalet, with wood-burner, sauna & outdoor hot tub. We’re an owner-run chalet and really care about making a great holiday for our guests.
Chalet Nordchamp is only an hour from Geneva airport, so nice short transfer times. The ski area is the Grand Massif - 265km of awesome skiing - both in the tree-lined villages and high-up above the tree line in Flaine (2,500m). We hate walking in ski/board boots and reckon guests do too, so we offer a free minibus shuttle for lift drop-off & pick-up. Its just 2-4 minutes to the lift, depending on which of the 3 you choose… so probably less walking in ski boots than a ski in/out chalet!

We’re passionate about food & great ingredients. Meals are relaxed and plentiful, and of course decent bottled wine is included. Bathrobes & toiletries are provided, so you’ve less to pack.
We're just a 5 minute walk to the village of Morillon, or 5-10 minutes on the free ski-bus into the bigger Samoens. Samoens has lovely shopping, cafes/bars, ice-skating, botanical garden & spa facilities - so good for any non-ski days.

The double height living room has enormous windows, meaning plenty of light and space as well as stunning views. Decorated with inviting sofas, fur cushions and vintage Savoyard décor, the chalet feels warm and comfortable.
The spacious twin/double bedrooms are made extra comfortable with feather duvets and pillows, fluffy towels and toiletries.
The service
After a day enjoying the incredible Three Valleys skiing, soothe any aches in the hot tub then sink into the comfortable sofas and unwind with a glass of bubbly while your hosts create an indulgent dinner
The open bar includes beer, house wine, sparkling wine and soft drinks, with hand-picked wines especially chosen to accompany each meal. Nespresso coffee and chocolates are served around the log fire. A hearty cooked breakfast and home-baked afternoon tea treats are served during the week.

The resort
La Tania is renowned for being a good value resort from which to ski the celebrated Three Valleys. With a friendly atmosphere and good apres-ski venues as well as restaurants ranging from good old pizza to Michelin-star dining, the village attracts young families and groups of skiers and boarders.

The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France. Fantastic for all levels.
Chalet Ski-Massif is at 1300m, off the mountain road from Samoëns (720m) up to Samoëns 1600, with uninterrupted views of valleys, mountains, pine trees and snow surrounding the chalet. An idyllic spot and a beautiful drive up and back to the slopes.
I will drop you at the top of a green/blue/red piste within 5 minutes of leaving the chalet - well ahead of people taking 40 minutes to come up from the villages. You can be ahead of the queues and half way to Flaine before the crowds have even put their skis on.
All you need to do is to book your flights. We'll help you with everything else: from transfers, passes, rentals, getting you to the slopes, lessons/guides, and any advice you'd like for the mountain.
This season I have an excellent chef who is passionate about food. Amanda will spoil you with her delicious freshly cooked meals while her husband Peter serves you a selection of 10 wines. Beers and aperitifs are also included.

St Gervais is a traditional picturesque Spa Town with many bars and restaurants about 15 minutes walk from the chalet. At the centre of the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, St Gervais combines an intimate, family feel, with an expansive ski area linked to Megeve. With 5 combined resorts there are 445km of pistes available, with skiing for all ability levels.
The main lift from St Gervais (4 minutes from the chalet) takes you to Bettex at 1450m where the extensive skiing begins up to a height of 2500m so it is snowsure.

Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. Take a trip on the Montenvers Tramway to the Mer de Glace at the foot of the Vallee Blanche and explore the ice caves also the cable car that takes you up to the Aguille de Midi (3000m) 360 degree spectacular views. Explore the shops and cafes in Chamonix Centre or pamper yourself with an in house massage. Alternatively visit the large spa centre.
