| We could offer you sole occupancy of Chalet Genevieve in Val d'Isere from Sunday, 5th February.
You can ski to the door of the chalet, which is owner-run and situated in the exclusive La Legettaz area at the foot of the Solaise slopes. In the mornings you just need to walk 100 yards down the road before putting on your skis. All five rooms are newly renovated and have their own facilities. There is an outdoor hot tub, large sun terrace, log fire, mini bar, boot heater, foot massager, free WIFI, iPod and base station, indoor and outdoor parking, to say nothing of the beautiful views up the Manchet valley and over the village.
The Espace Killy has over 300km of piste to suit all abilities and the off-piste possibilities are endless. The village is at 1850m and with two glaciers, you will be assured of good snow. The après-ski entertainment is also varied and plentiful.
Included in the price are breakfast (freshly-squeezed orange juice, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, porridge and a hot option, eg. poached egg and ham on a toasted muffin), afternoon tea and on 6 evenings we serve a pre-dinner drink with canapés followed by a 4-course evening meal with select wines. Tea, coffee and fresh fruit are available at all times.
It is a 10 minute walk across the piste into the village center or you can make use of the free minibus service that drops you right outside the chalet.

| We would love to welcome your and your friends to our newly renovated luxury chalet in the beautiful alpine village of Châtel in the vast Portes du Soleil. Transfers are only 90 minutes from Geneva. The resort has so much to offer for all abilities and benefits from significant lift and snow cannon investments of the last few years. The mountainside is scattered with charming chalet restaurants, great for a quick bite, long lunch or late afternoon vin chaud!
Our chalet has six bedrooms and we offer a morning and evening private ski chauffeur service to the slopes (as little as 2 minutes away). Situated on the bright side of the valley the chalet catches the morning and evening sun and is a short walk from the town centre. There is also a free bus from outside the chalet. The village has a lovely French feel and has a great collection of shops and restaurants. We can arrange great fun snow shoeing through the forests with the lovely Tania and there are stacks of other non skiing activities - check our blog for details.
Our chalet is professionally staffed and our chef boasts Michelin star experience, a benefit we hope you can enjoy. We have a private carnotzet (cellar) and would love to arrange a wine tasting for you. All our rooms are finished in old wood and are ensuite, with Sonos music throughout. The huge living room with log fire, cocktail bar and terrace provides wonderful views over the valley and to relax even more we offer our sauna and outdoor hot-tub.

For a particularly friendly and cost effective ski holiday try the French Pyrenees. Skiing, accommodation, piste side food/drinks, restaurants, tuition etc. all work out about 1/3rd less than the Alps.
We are based in the largest ski resort in the French Pyrenees in the traditional, picturesque, mountain spa village of Bareges, where you can ski home to enjoy a relaxing evening in the spa and our renowned cooking. The Grand Tourmalet resort has over 110km of piste spread over a very large domain, which gives famous off-piste skiing (including the Pic du Midi at 2877m with over 1km of off-piste descent), as well as very accessible beginner slopes and blue run level main access pistes. We are also a very snow sure resort with lifts going higher than any in the "Portes du Soleil" for example and extensive snow making facilities just in case.
The chalet is a beautifully restored, centrally located village house with large en-suite rooms, sauna, heated equipment room, lounge with wood burning stove (+ bar, books and games), big-screen home cinema, free wi-fi access...
