| Hi We have a couple of options for you in Morzine. Our 2 bedroom apartment is available on a self catered basis or we have twin or family ensuite rooms available on a B&B basis. Both are available from 29th June. We're on a quiet back road in Morzine near to the Super Morzine bubble lift, the town centre and the swimming pools. We have a garage if you need to lock up bikes and a hose for washing them down at the end of the day. Free WIFI is available and we can arrange your transfers from Geneva airport if needed. If you want to go further afield site seeing then a car is a good idea, you can always fly and hire if you don't want to drive the whole way. There are loads of activities to do in the Portes du Soleil and with the Multipass it’s even cheaper to enjoy them! For 6 days the pass costs €10 per person and includes entrance to the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, lifts for walkers, tennis courts and ice rink, plus discounts on other activities. We have availability at the moment for your group of two in July or August and can offer either the option of bed and breakfast or with an evening meal for up to five nights out of seven depending on numbers staying. Our price for bed and breakfast is £225 per person. If necessary we can also arrange your transfers from Geneva including bikes or we have plenty off road parking at the chalet. If staying for a week then a car I think is the best option to get the best out of the area There is an above ground pool in the garden which is solar heated, garden furniture, fire pit with pizza stone and BBQ for guests to use. | Orbweaver, This is more advice than a solution to your booking request. Tignes is a great place for the summer, particularly so in that the lifts for mountain biking are free. It has the advantage of summer skiing too with the extensive Grand Motte glacier area- so good it is used by ski teams to prepare for the winter. A slight negative for Tignes is that it's altitude means it can be quite cool , even cold during the summer months. Better, in my opinion, to stay somewhere down in the valley between Bourg st Maurice (Bourg is great for white water activities and swimming) and Tignes. You will have easy access to Tignes and other wonderful areas (Sainte Foy, Les Arcs, La Plagne, La Rosiere) but also get the hot summer temperatures to enjoy the long days and evenings (often around 30c). Definitely hire a car, there are so many things to see and do in the whole of the Tarentaise valley area. July and August are better than June as most facilities are closed for June. | Hello, We have availability at la petite buche for you from the at your convenience, we can offer you the whole chalet, with two double ensuite bedrooms, one twin, and one adult size bunk room. The chalet is warm and cosy with all you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a large bbq, if you have a chilli night, you can cook on the grill in the open fire, in the sitting room. The chalet over looks the river Bourne, there is an obstical course that runs along side it and is a wonderful place for the children to play in and around the river. The pretty mountain village of le grand bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from, there is a large open air swimming complex,tennis courts, archery, trampolineing, an adventure park in the trees, and even a 9 hole golf course. The telecabine to the mountain is just the other side of the village centre and runs during the summer, to get walkers up the mountain, or just to have a look at the view from the top of la chat. Self drive is what I used to do in the summer but it's a long way for a week, there is as I said loads to do in the village, if you fly you won't get board with the village, The price for the chalet for the week is 1100€, 100€ per aditional day.
