| Hi Freda, Our Chalet Iceman looks like it might be just what you're looking for! It's a 3-bedroom chalet located on Route Couttet Champion, just a 5-minute walk from the very centre of Chamonix. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, free wifi, parking and UK TV. There are fantastic views of Mont Blanc and the Moussoux bus and train stops are literally just around the corner - http://www.adventurebase.com/en/summer-holidays/chamonix/iceman. The price is £852 per week for the whole chalet on a self-catered basis, and this includes towels/linen, end of stay clean and tax de sejour so there's nothing to add on top. For a 2-week stay the total would therefore be £1,704 and this also includes a mid-stay linen change. As you may already know, Chamonix is fantastic in the summer - fabulous outdoor pool, cycling and walking trails, rafting, forest zip-wires for children and adults, and lake swimming down at Passy Lake. | Hello Freda, Our 3 bedroom apartment is available from 2nd to 15th August and we are totally flexible on start dates and durations. The apartment is in a relatively quiet but convenient location and has a massive outdoor terrace, ideal for the summer months. There is a stunning outdoor swimming pool with fabulous views of Courchevel just a short walk away from the apartment The price to rent the apartment in the summer school holiday period is just £560 per week or £990 for twelve nights. If you want to be catered for you can eat at the hotel opposite the apartment building. It is located in the charming, unspoilt, family friendly village of Champagny en Vanoise with its 16th Century church and some marvellous old farmhouses. There are a multitude of activities for an adventurous family - biking, hiking, horse riding, paragliding, adventure parks, climbing, via ferrata to name just a few. There are a couple of ranches in Champagny le haut where you can rent horses and they offer guided trails with some stunning rides into the Vanoise National park. It is under 9 hours from Calais (8hrs 47 mins according to Google maps)and just 2 hours from Geneva airport if you prefer to fly. | Hello summer Hello Freda We have availability at la petite buche for you from the 2nd, we can offer you the whole chalet, with two double ensuite bedrooms, one twin, and one adult size bunk room. The chalet is warm and cosy with all you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a large bbq, if you have a chilli night, you can cook on the grill in the open fire, in the sitting room. The chalet has its own private drive, and open views over the river borne, to the front, with the obstical course and the river to dam, and paddle in, there's hours of free entertainment for the children. The pretty mountain village of le grand bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from, there is a large open air swimming complex, tennis courts, archery, trampolineing, an adventure park in the trees, and even a 9 hole golf course. The telecabine to the mountain is just the other side of the village centre and runs during the summer, to get walkers up the mountain, or just to have a look at the view from the top of la chat. | Dear Freda, Many thanks for your enquiry. We are 2 hours away from Geneva in the Three Valleys if you think it could be a nice alternative to Chamonix. We can offer you Chalet de Belleville with its 5 double rooms with 2 ensuite and 2 shared bathrooms for €2,500 per week (sole occupancy self-catering basis) which includes end of the week clean, linen and logs. Catering is not included but can be arranged. This is a large luxury chalet about 10 mins drive from St Martin de Belleville ski lifts which links to the 3 Valleys ski domain with its nature trails, horse riding, forest activity circuits for mountain adventurers and also cheese farms, swimming pool and spa to wind down. In brief, the chalet is laid out over 3 floors and includes a cinema room, a lounge with a wood burner, a snug, and a dining room for up to 14 guests, a terrace with BBQ, free WIFI throughout the property and parking off road for up to 3 cars in addition to the garage.
