We are in the centre of the beautiful farming village of La Chappelle d'Abondance, which has stunning walking trails for all standards and 5 minutes from Chatel, which is a mountain biking mecca. La Chapelle has a very French feel to the village, it's not just a ski resort, and being in the centre you are close to all the local shops, bars (including a microbrewery) and restaurants should you wish to try some local fayre. Les Houches has got amazing Moutain biking with a new course set up on the slopes just a couple of years ago and is great fun! | Hi We have a spacious three-bed apartment in Morzine which sleeps up to 8. The price for sole occupancy is Eur200/night (min 5 nights) or Eur1250 for the week. The apartment has off-road parking for two cars, a fully-equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms and a bedroom with a double and bunks. There are two bathrooms, one ensuite. It is an easy (15/20 minute) walk into Morzine to the numerous bars and restaurants. Alternatively, the free bus leaves from very nearby (less than 100 yards). We have teamed up with a local business who are able to provide evening meals if you require them for a reasonable price. They can also provide pre-arrival shopping services and there is a bakery in the town who will deliver your breakfast bread and croissant. There are numerous fantastic walks from easy strolls to hard hikes which can be done from the apartment and we can provide you with suggestions. | Hello, Val-Thorens is well organized for mountain biking. You can go down for 16km the vallee and come back with free shuttle bus 4 times a days. Chairlifts are running is well. I have an appartments in Val-Thorens in the center of the village, close to the bus station. Val-Thorens is the highest Village in Europe,(2350m high, 6550 fts high) in the biggest ski resort (Les trois-vallees). The apartment is newly renovated with a great kitchen.
