| Hello,
I am looking for a nice, cosy, private chalet, preferably with a log fire, to spend new year with my girlfriend. We don't mind if it is catered or not, but something small for us to have to ourselves.
We are happy to pay a slight premium if the chalet usually takes more guests (3, 4 for example) but not looking for one that sleeps 8, 10, 12 - as these will be far too expensive for just us of course.
I have my fingers crossed!

Location: Morzine | Dear Ed,
We have our self catered Slalom 13 in Morzine available.
The Slalom 13 is located right in the centre of Morzine just 50 meters walk from the SuperMorzine lift and 100 meters walk from the Pleney slopes. Built in 2008, the apartment has 2 bedrooms (1 double or twin and 1 bunkbed room), 2 bathrooms (1 wc), a lounge and dining area with flat screen tv and dvd player, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace overlooking the slopes, plus ski locker and underground parking. This apartment also has free wi-fi internet.
Please note that we are able to assist with arranging any ski school, ski hire, lift pass and airport transfer requirements that you may have all in advance of your arrival date. We are just 1hr 15mins drive from Geneva.

We still have New Year 2017 free at 'Maison Vert' a two bedroomed self catered apartment in the village of Peisey, a family-run, self-catered, two-bedroomed apartment in the centre of Peisey, a traditional alpine village in the heart of the Les Arcs (Paradiski) area. The total cost for the apartment for that week is £675 which includes electricity, all linen and towels and beds made up on arrival. The apartment is just 5 minutes walk away from the free lift which takes you directly to the slopes.
Our well-equipped apartment sleeps four in one double-bedroom and one bunk room. There's a very comfortable lounge/diner, kitchen with full-sized oven, microwave, dishwasher etc. Bathroom with shower. UK FreeSat TV/DVD. Secure ski storage.
Fantastic village; amenities, restaurants and traditional local shops close by (boulangerie opposite!).

I can offer you a self-catering studio at Le Marquis in Morzine.
You can arrive/depart any day of the week and any time of day. Bags can be stored and there are shower/change facilities available on arrival and departure days so you can maximise your time on the slopes.
The studio is in a great location - just an easy, flat walk to Morzine town centre and ski lifts (800m). The nearest supermarket and restaurant are only a couple of minutes walk away.
The price for the studio based on 2 guests sharing at New Year is £625. This includes bed linen and towels... sorry no log fire though.
There is an option to have breakfast at our chalet opposite if you wish and our bar has a range of snacks and dinner available every evening.

Not sure of your budget but we have the lovely spacious 2 bedroom Mini Gabl in St Anton. available from Tues 27th Dec to Tues 3rd Jan at £5000 based on the two of you to include return Gatwick flights, coach transfers, applicable taxes and catered chalet accommodation.

I have a very nice private apartment. No log fire unfortunately but it is very well located in central Morzine town and about 5 mins walk from at least a dozen restaurants/bars with log fires and great food!
Open to offers but circa ~ 700 Euro's for a week which would leave you lots of budget for eating out V's a bigger chalet.

Location: La Chapelle d'Abondance, Portes du Soleil | Hi Ed,
No log fire but underfloor heating and all mod cons!
We can offer you our newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in La Chapelle d'Abondance in the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. The local slopes of Cret Beni are only a few minutes walk or 2 minutes on the bus, which stops right outside, ideal for beginners and intermediates, or a little further on to the lifts that take you to 650km of amazing skiing for the more adventurous! The slopes are nice and quiet in La Chapelle. There are free car parks at all the lifts, I advise driving as it is more convenient. If you hire your equipment from any of the shops by the lifts, they allow you to leave it there instead of carrying it around.
It has a full kitchen, wifi,smart tv, apple tv, boot warmers and underfloor heating throughout.
We can recommend ski hire with 10% off(who come to the apartment at your convenience)
Chatel, up the road, had the best conditions in the whole of the Portes du Soleil last season.
The lift to Torgon and the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil is a 3 minute drive away
For New Year it will be £1,500 for a week + cleaning.Towels and linen included.
