Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines, draft beer and spirits with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 16 people in either twin or triple rooms.
There is a large lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and TV,
A soundproof Cine’ room with a large screen for watching DVD’s.
We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.

The chalet is a 200 year old Abondance farmhouse lovingly renovated to keep the quirks and charm but with all the modern luxuries you want after a day in the alpine air. Spacious open plan lounge, with open fire and views of the Abondance valley and plenty of seating for everyone, plus a hot tub right under the Mont de Grange
Our focus is exceptional service, food and wine and my husband and I are your chefs and hosts for your stay. All drinks are included (no honesty bar!) and everything is cooked in house by us, with much of the produce from the local providers, farmers and butchers and some from our garden, such as free range eggs from our hens. A vegetarian meal is no trouble for your daughter
