| Hi, we may have the perfect solution. There is a direct train from Geneva airport to Sion, from where there is a bus to Nendaz. The trip takes around two hours so is ideal for a weekend ski trip. The chalet has four bedrooms and two bathrooms so you don’t need to share if you don’t want to. It’s in a quiet cul de sac but town is walkable or you can walk up to the main road and get a bus from there. We tend to ski from Siviez as it’s at a ‘cross roads’ in the Four Valleys ski area. This means you have easy access to over 400 kms of piste with Verbier in one direction and Thyon and Veysonnaz in the other, plus there is skiing at Siviez itself or you can ski in Nendaz if you prefer. There’s a bus stop at the top of the road into Nendaz or Siviez, whichever you prefer. As the area is quite high, even if the snow is bad elsewhere, you can normally find good skiing. A few years ago, people were driving in from places like Chamonix as we had snow when they didn’t.
In terms of the chalet, there is an open plan lounge/dining area plus fully equipped kitchen etc, a garage in case you are renting a car, WiFi, dvd library, open fireplace, a terrace with amazing views and so on.

I’m pleased to let you know we have availability at la petite buche for your dates, the chalet sits in a quiet location just below the road and looks on to the river Bourne, it's a hidden gem. The chalet is warm and cosy with all you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire, for those chilly nights.
The pretty mountain village of Le Grand Bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from. The telecabine to the slopes is a short distance away and gives access to some great pistes.
We are both chefs in Crete during the summer so you will be well fed, (specific dietary needs can be catered for with notice). Ski school, private lessons and transfers can all be organized for you, it’s your holiday. Le Grand Bornand is only an hour from Geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike.
The price per person per night, bed breakfast, and a lovely evening meal (wine and beer included) is £75

Chalet Giffre has a great location in the town. The original farmhouse in the village with a private courtyard and the village on your door step. Just 400m to the church square and Gondola.
We are now in to our 14th Ski season our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms. log burning stove dividing the dinning area and the lounge area. We have a free bar before dinner offering beers, wines, and a few old favourites like G&T`s in front of the log fire.
Fully catered service 6 out of 7 days, cooked breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee freshly baked cakes, 3 course evening meal and cheese board served with cold beers and wine.
No walking in ski boots. Two minibuses servicing the chalet dropping you off at the Gondola 400m in under a minute. We also collect you from 5 diffrent lift stations late afternoon

| Hi Brian. A warm welcome awaits you at our catered Chalet des Etoiles in the village of St JEAN d’Aulps, 75 mins from Geneva airport and a few mins drive from Morzine. All part of the Portes du Soleil with skiing to suit all abilities . I can offer you 2 twin en-suite bedrooms for the dates you have requested. The price for 4 nights is £560pp . Return airport transfers are £70pp. Arrive early and leave on a late flight and you will enjoy 5 days skiing. Our courtesy minibus will whisk you to and from the slopes each day. Lessons, lift passes, ski equipment can all be organised in advance so you will reach the slopes without any delay. We have a few lively bars within walking distance if you have any energy left after your 5 course dinner served with wine or beer. Breakfast and afternoon tea are also included.
