we fit all your requirements apart from walking to town.
The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France. Fantastic for all levels and the off-piste here is outstanding.
Chalet Ski-Massif is at 1300m, off the mountain road from Samoëns (720m) up to the Samoëns 1600 ski station. You will feel like you're properly immersed in the mountains, with uninterrupted views of valleys, mountains, pine trees and snow surrounding the chalet. It is an idyllic spot and a beautiful drive up to the slopes in the morning.
Because of this location I can drop you at the top of a green/blue/red piste in less than 5 minutes of leaving the chalet - well ahead of the people that take 40 minutes to come up from the villages, and you can be ahead of the queues and half way to Flaine before the crowds have even put their skis on.
At night, from the hot tub, you get amazing views of the stars because of the lack of light pollution.
All you need to do is to book your flights. We'll help you with everything else: from transfers, passes, rentals, getting you to the slopes, lessons/guides, and any advice you'd like for the mountain.
This season I have an excellent chef who is passionate about food. Amanda will spoil you with her delicious freshly cooked meals while her husband Peter serves you a selection of 10 wines. Beers and aperitifs are also included.

Chalet Sophia sleeps 17, has a large hot tub on the balcony, spectacular mountain views and a traditional wooden sauna. Our chalet-hotel offers half board accommodation in snow sure Plagne 1800, part of the Paradiski area. We are next to the slopes and two chair lifts, with the ski school meeting point just across the street.
Facilities include:

Covered parking at the hotel is 50 euros a week but there is outdoor parking nearby if preferred. Eurostar travellers have just a short ride up the mountain to reach us so there are no lengthy transfers.

Nicole is a modern luxury chalet with a large open-plan lounge and dining area and huge windows to flood the whole space with light. It has eight good sized tastefully decorated bedrooms, with either double or twin beds and one charming single room, each room has an en-suite bathroom, six with full sized baths and showers and two with just a shower.
There is a large open plan living dining area with comfy sofas, log burning fire, Smart T.V and free wifi. Downstairs enjoy your own private out door spa area, with Scandinavian sauna and large hot-tub Jacuzzi, to help soothe aching muscles after a full day on the piste. Complimentary bathrobes, hair dryers and a selection of toiletries are provided. There is ample ski storage, modern boot warmers and free parking alongside the chalet.

Chalet Barragiste has the ultimate ski in ski out location that enables you to step out of the door, click into your skis and head off for a day’s skiing.
Chalet Barragiste is located on the edge of the luge track between Courchevel 1850 and Courchevel 1550 which is a gentle blue run that take you down to Courchevel Village’s lift station. Courchevel Village offers direct access to Courchevel 1850 and the rest of the Three Valleys ski area .
Chalet Barragiste comprises six bedrooms spread over three levels. Two bedrooms have en-suites, the remaining offer en-suite showers and sinks, whilst sharing three toilets. When filling the whole chalet an additional two beds in a mezzanine area are also available. There is a spacious living area and separate dining room and an outdoor hot tub on a large south facing terrace.
