We are looking for a budget ski holiday in France/Austria/Italy.
Our requirements are:
- 3 bedrooms
- ski in, ski out or within 100m of slope/lift
- large resort with lots of black slopes
- self drive
We are a family of 5 with 1 extra adult skier. We usually stay in a catered chalet but will also look at well located apartments.
Facilities are not the most important thing - we come to ski. So location is one of our most important criteria. We won't consider ski bus or minibus to the slopes.
Our budget (including food, ski passes and ski material) is approximately £1000pp.

You can ski to the door, and the lifts and beginners are are 150m from the chalet.
The chalet has 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 lounge areas with TV, sauna, hot-tub, wifi, log-fire, minibar, superb catering and hospitality (our 15th season) We can arrange lift passes ready on arrival, and we can recommend a ski hire company who deliver and fit in the chalet.

The chalet is well furnished and maintained to a very good standard and represents an affordable option for a medium sized group.

The chalet is located 50 metres from the green piste of La Tania, which means you can access the resorts main bubble on your skis in the morning, and in the afternoons you can ski back to within 50 metres of the chalet.

Why not try Switzerland, it’s far less crowded than other resorts and not as expensive as people think, a large beer costs just CHF 5 and a glass of wine CHF 3.

| Chalet Jamais Bleu is a cosy alpine retreat, with an outdoor hot tub on the terrace and unbeatable location right on the Moretta Blanche piste in La Tania.
The double height living room has enormous windows, meaning plenty of light and space as well as stunning views. Decorated with inviting sofas, fur cushions and vintage Savoyard décor, the chalet feels warm and comfortable.
The spacious twin/double bedrooms are made extra comfortable with feather duvets and pillows, fluffy towels and toiletries.
The service
After a day enjoying the incredible Three Valleys skiing, soothe any aches in the hot tub then sink into the comfortable sofas and unwind with a glass of bubbly while your hosts create an indulgent dinner
The open bar includes beer, house wine, sparkling wine and soft drinks, with hand-picked wines especially chosen to accompany each meal. Nespresso coffee and chocolates are served around the log fire. A hearty cooked breakfast and home-baked afternoon tea treats are served during the week.
Part of our luxurious service includes a complimentary massage – the definition of relaxation! (for the adults)
For entertainment off the slopes, we also have satellite TV, a DVD player, WiFi, board games and books.
The resort
La Tania is renowned for being a good value resort from which to ski the celebrated Three Valleys. With a friendly atmosphere and good apres-ski venues as well as restaurants ranging from good old pizza to Michelin-star dining, the village attracts young families and groups of skiers and boarders.
The price is £739 for the adults and £689 for the children under 13 years.

Our chalet-hotel offers half board accommodation in snow sure Plagne 1800, part of the Paradiski area. We are next to the slopes and two chair lifts, with the ski school meeting point just across the street.
Facilities include:

2 Bars with terrace (The Bobsleigh Pub and The Skeleton Bar).

Ski and Boot Lockers
Luggage room for early arrivals or late departures
Ski passes can be collected on arrival if pre-booked

Covered parking at the hotel is 50 euros a week but there is outdoor parking nearby if preferred. Eurostar travellers have just a short ride up the mountain to reach us so there are no lengthy transfers.

We would be delighted to welcome you to Chalet La Luge in the resort of La Tzoumaz, an alternative to Verbier with all the same great skiing, and quieter, gentler slopes this side of the mountain.
We have 6 rooms all with en-suite facilities, which can be arranged with twin or super-king double beds.
All rooms have hairdryers, multi UK adapters, bedside USB hubs; bathrobes, slippers and toiletries are supplied.
Situated at an altitude of 1576m we are 600m from the pistes and very popular après bar, 800m from the resort centre.
We run drop offs every morning - we'll be there for the first lift if that's what you'd like, no waiting on others, getting back is easy, the free ski bus stops 100m from the chalet and it's all downhill :0) But it's about 5 minutes on foot, we normally walk.
We have both a hot tub and sauna, separate cinema/Smart TV room, log fire, wifi throughout, as well as a computer linked TV in the living room.
We serve cooked breakfast options on all 7 days, there's freshly made home-made cakes/biscuits on all 7 days and a 5 course evening meal on 6 nights. Excellent catering and service - see our ChaletsDirect and TripAdvis0r reviews for proof!
Reduced to Chf 800. It's 8 hours drive from Calais, 20 mins from motorway, parking at the chalet.

Will-i-ski? is an independent owner run chalet company dedicated to bringing you a unique holiday you will not forget. We (Phoebe and Charlie) currently run the Chalet Marmotte in La Plagne 1800 and feel the chalet can deliver everything you require for a traditional and cosy chalet holiday.
The Chalet Marmotte sleeps up to 15 people in various room configurations. There is a lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and a separate ‘snug’ with games console and a TV for watching DVD’s.
We also have a Sauna to help soothe the muscles after a long days skiing.
La Plagne is the perfect setting for a great holiday’s skiing, its varied and can cater to all levels of skier or snowboarder. It is also linked with Les Arcs to make up the joint area called the Paradiski offering 425km of pistes, the second largest ski area in the world.
