St Gervais is a traditional picturesque Spa Town with many bars and restaurants about 15 minutes walk from the chalet. At the centre of the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, St Gervais combines an intimate feel, with an expansive ski area linked to Megeve. With 5 combined resorts there are 445km of pistes available, with skiing for all ability levels.
The main lift from St Gervais (4 minutes from the chalet) takes you to Bettex at 1450m where the extensive skiing begins.

The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France. Fantastic for all levels.
Chalet Ski-Massif is at 1300m, off the mountain road from Samoëns (720m) up to Samoëns 1600, with uninterrupted views of valleys, mountains, pine trees and snow surrounding the chalet. An idyllic spot and a beautiful drive up and back to the slopes.
I will drop you at the top of a green/blue/red piste within 5 minutes of leaving the chalet - well ahead of people taking 40 minutes to come up from the villages. You can be ahead of the queues and half way to Flaine before the crowds have even put their skis on.
All you need to do is to book your flights. We'll help you with everything else: from transfers, passes, rentals, getting you to the slopes, lessons/guides, and any advice you'd like for the mountain.
This season I have an excellent chef who is passionate about food. Amanda will spoil you with her delicious freshly cooked meals while her husband Peter serves you a selection of 10 wines. Beers and aperitifs are also included.

Albergo Frohsinn has a perfect piste-side location just 40 metres above the gondola in San Cassiano. Our ski store with heated boot dryers is literally inches from the piste! Dolomiti Superski has a vast total of 1200km of piste. We are situated in the Alta Badia region which is connected to the Sella Ronda circuit, providing over 500km of linked pistes.
San Cassiano’s slopes are particularly suited to novices and intermediates but more advanced skiers/boarders will appreciate quick access to miles and miles of terrain including 3 World Cup runs. There are blue or red runs home to the chalet door. There are numerous fabulous mountain restaurants (not overpriced!), and the area has one of the most effective snow-making systems in the world covering over 80% pistes with perfect faux snow if needed.
