We are looking for a catered family ensuite room in a family friendly/orientated resort in the port du soleil area for a family of 5. Comprising of 2 adults and 3 children (aged 10, 8 and 5 years of age). A picturesque room view would also be ideal.
Ideally located within reasonable walking distance to the nursery slopes/ski schools as all 3 children will be new to the slopes.
We would prefer the option that allows children to join adults at meal times if possible.
We would not necessarily look to ski or board every day, so an option of a resort that has a variety of other family activities would also be ideal.
Our dates are from the end of Feb onwards.

You’ll see we have a unique ski to door location near the Prodains gondola to Avoriaz… no hiking with skis, no squeezing on buses. On our website there's also a 360 degree tour – you can see all our bedrooms so there will be no surprises when you arrive!
Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. We have an on–site crèche, a games/movie room for teenagers, a hot-tub, sauna, massage room, private bar and five course evening meals for adults. All our rooms can be booked for seven nights half board or for short breaks.
Chalet Plan des Rochers is 80 meters from the hotel and can be booked for exclusive use or by individual bedrooms. Fully catered and staffed with the same standards and facilities as our hotel, Plan des Rochers also benefits from an excellent ski to door location.
Chalet des Amis is next door to Au Coin du Feu so can be used as a private chalet or as an annex to the hotel. It sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms, is ski to door and shares the spa facilities of the hotel. It has it's own private chef but there is the option of joining guests at Au Coin du Feu if there is space in the dining room.

We have availability in the self-catered apartment of our chalet in Morzine for 7days between 1st-15th March, and can arrange a grocery drop for your arrival and catered evening meals to suit your palate and budget (from £15pp main course). The apartment sleeps up to 5 people, and has one bedroom that sleeps 3, and a lounge/dining room which doubles up as a 2nd sleeping area with a banquette that has 2 proper single beds (one is stored under the other and raises to the same height). It is the first level of the chalet, which looks out onto the garden and the spectacular views beyond, and has:
• Self-contained apartment with private entrance

• Lounge/dining room with TV, UK Freeview channels, DVD player and PlayStation & games
• Bathroom (shower, sink & WC)
• Kitchen (dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave)

We have a large family room available in chalet Bernadine. We can drive you to and from the slopes of Morzine or Avoriaz or Saint Jean each day for lessons, or take you to swimming pools or ice rinks if preferred. The price for the week from the 29th of Feb will be £1250.
The Chalet - comfortable and cozy with warm beds, wood burning fire, bathrobes and fluffy towels, slippers, wifi and British TV.
The region - The Portes Du Soleil is just 55km from Geneva airport with 630km of skiing across French and Swiss resorts. The Portes Du Soleil offers excellent skiing/boarding for all abilities with beautiful tree line runs and great unpisted areas to explore. We can advise on the best places to experience skiing for the first time and for you ski ninjas out there!
Food - delicious 4 courses with canapes and a cocktail to start and all your wine, beer and bubbly is on us during dinner. Breakfasts are extensive with all the favourites to set you up for the day. When you return each day there will be afternoon tea & cakes or hot wings and beer one day if you are so inclined (our fave!). One staff night off for you to get your fix of local nightlife.
The difference: we are an owner run company so we do all that we can to maintain our high standards and your amazing experience and our guests leave as friends.

We are near la Joux/Chatel and would provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get you to your choice of lifts and back each day. No walking in ski boots carrying skis! You would have the whole Portes de Soleil ski area.
