If you are looking for a self-catered option then our apartment in Huez might tick the boxes.
The price is 145 euros per night and includes your bed linen (thats 725 euros for the 5 nights, the only extras are towels if you need and the local holiday tax which is 2.5 euros per adult per night). Thats just over 180 euros per person for the trip if there are 4 of you!
Our flat is about 200m from the bubble lift up to Alpe d'Huez and you can ski back on the blue run to about 200m from the door. You mention ski school, at the top of the bubble lift which takes about 7 minutes you walk 20m onto the Alp Express lift (a big bubble) which takes about 1 minute and you are at ski school.

Our chalet is situated just outside of Vaujany, a small, authentic Alpine village with great amenities such as a swimming pool, bowling, amazing day care, an ice-skating rink and daily animations. There are also a few bars where you can enjoy a nice drink after skiing.
We are part of the vast ski area of Alpe d’Huez which is superb for people of all levels of skiing.
Our spacious lounge has a large log fire. On the ground floor we have a bar and dining room where James cooks fantastic three course evening meals.
The chalet sleeps 19 in 8 en-suite bedrooms of which; 6 double/twin rooms, one triple room and one family suite.

Guests can enjoy a touch of luxury during their stay, with everything needed to relax after an exhilarating day on the hill. There is a free private shuttle bus on weekdays to take guests to and from the ski lifts, as well as plenty of opportunities to relax in the evening.
Kick back in the bar and lounge, enjoy delicious meals in the restaurant or a drink on the large, south facing outdoor terrace as you take in the stunning alpine views and fresh air. Those looking to completely unwind can head to the heated indoor swimming pool and spa to relax sore muscles.
