I'm looking at options for a ski holiday near Geneva for an arrival late in the day on Monday 20 February 2023, checking out on Thursday 23 February 2023.
We are 3 adults(1 couple and a friend) and so would ideally have 2 rooms.
Keen to try and find accommodation which is close to the slopes (hate walking in boots) in a resort which caters for beginners as well as having some more interesting stuff for me, who whilst no expert, prefers more challenging pistes.
We're relaxed on whether its self catering or half board etc. but in an ideal world would find a half board chalet with typical amenities.
I have been looking at places like Morzine, Les Gets, Les Arcs, La Plagne etc, and am open to any resorts in similar distances (e.g. including Italian and Swiss resorts). | At a glance:- Looking for a holiday

Located in Morillon in the Family-friendliness ski resort Le Grand Massif just an hour from Geneva. This resort caters from beginners to experts, with a wide range of different types of slopes.

The total price for 3 nights catered is £1400, based in 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom just for the 3 of you.
Included in the price:
- 3 breakfasts (eggs, bacon, croissants, juices, crepes...)

Samoens is a great traditional village and the lively centre is around 5 minutes walk from the chalet. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif and gives access to a great range of skiing (265km) up to 2500m height. The lift from the village takes you to 1600m were the ski schools meet and the skiing begins with links to Morillon, Les Carroz and Flaine. There is plenty to do for skiers of all abilities.
We presume you know that this is the 2nd of the UK half term weeks so the price would be £1875 you would get better value by staying longer particularly as you have requested the middle of the week. This includes

Farmhouse la Desmeuniere is a beautifully renovated 18th century farmhouse with traditional features and full of character. The chalet’s eight en suite bedrooms are split over 3 floors and can sleep up to 22 people. Features a log fire, balcony with views of Morzine, ski/boot room, sauna, sunken hot tub, free Wifi, large car park and garden.
Chalet Pleney is ski in and ski out right on the Pleney piste and also just 4 minutes walk to centre of town. The 9 en-suite bedrooms can sleep up to 25 people. The spacious open plan lounge and dinning area has a log fire and large picture windows offering spectacular views and access to the large terrace and balconies, outdoor hot tub and sauna.
